SUMMARY:Club Assembly:  Our Club's Financial Status and Future
DESCRIPTION:Dear club members:\n\nThe Board has heard you!  Several members have requested more information and discussion at the club level of our finances.  A small group\, including our Treasurer\, have met  several times to fully understand our current financial picture and the operating budget challenges we face moving forward.  Linda Kitchens was asked to present information to you and lead a discussion.  Please join us – we need your questions\, thoughts and ideas!\n\nThe presentation will include a refresher on the elements of our club finances – distribution of fundraiser dollars\, dues collected\, weekly lunch and fine revenue\, and the Board’s current thinking about member billing and how the costs of club gatherings\, including Christmas and Demotion\, are covered. This assembly will help members understand the financial considerations behind the ideas being considered and what they could mean for the club.\n\nWe anticipate a survey to follow for you all to give your opinions following this important discussion.\n \nWe encourage all members to attend.  If there are any questions in advance\, please reach out to Linda.
